BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Ike Davis hit a two-run homer in the seventh inning Wednesday night to lift the Binghamton Mets to a 3-2 victory over the Portland Sea Dogs at NYSEG Stadium.

Binghamton starter Mike Antonini (7-3) allowed seven hits in seven innings to get the win.

The Sea Dogs loaded the bases in the ninth on a one-out single by Luis Exposito and back-to-back walks to Jason Place and Yamaico Navarro. Reliever Jose De La Torre, who came on after Exposito's single, then struck out Iggy Suarez and retired Daniel Nava on a grounder to second to end the game.

After falling behind 1-0 on a sacrifice fly by Jose Coronado in the second inning, Portland tied the game in the third when Daniel Nava scored on Jorge Jimenez's sacrifice fly.

The Sea Dogs pulled ahead 2-1 in the sixth when Ryan Kalish doubled and scored on a single by Ryan Khoury.

Portland's Ryne Miller gave up one unearned run on two hits over five innings in his first professional start. He struck out eight and walked one.
