TRENTON, N.J. — Reegie Corona had a pair of two-run doubles, and the Trenton Thunder overcame a 6-0 deficit to beat the Portland Sea Dogs 9-6 Thursday night.

Trenton trailed 6-3 in the sixth before scoring six runs against Sea Dogs relievers Andrew Dobies and Blake Maxwell.

Marcos Vechionacci made it 6-4 with an RBI single, and Corona's second double tied the game. Corona then scored the go-ahead run on an infield hit by Eduardo Nunez, Jorge Vazquez followed with a triple and Jesus Montero capped the rally with a single.

The Sea Dogs struck early against Trenton starter Jeremy Bleich. The first four batters reached base, with Portland taking a 1-0 lead on Jon Still's bases-loaded single. Lars Anderson and John Otness each drove in a run with a fielder's choice grounder.

Otness belted a three-run homer, his first of the season, to extend Portland's lead to 6-0 in the third.

Trenton answered with three in the bottom of the third against Sea Dogs starter Felix Doubront. Corona doubled home two runs and scored on a single by Montero.
