Summer in Maine just rocks and rolls

As soon as you pass thru the York tolls!

Stately pine trees and lupine abound,

Rocky coast and foamy waves surround

The smell of the Maine coast beckons you,

To explore her beaches and water so blue.

Take the kids for a rockin' blast at Aquaboggan,

Or explore the quaint sights at Eggemoggin.

Catch the Seadogs hard at play,

Take a rolling ride on Casco Bay.

Indulge your senses at a coastal "gahden",

Or plan a rockin' good hike up Mount Katahdin.

Swim, fish, and boat on our pristine lakes,

And look for moose for GOODNESS SAKES!

Summer festivals in Maine simply abound,

Rockin' music, parades, and crafts can be found!

Hunt for Maine treasures and bargains too,

From Kittery to Houlton, there's something for you!

State parks invite you to come and explore,

Our rolling inland, islands, and rocky shore.

Visit our lighthouses, jewels of the ocean,

Zip over to Funtown for great rides and commotion!

Please come enjoy our ROCKIN" ROLLING places

And don't forget our scenic, serene spaces.

When it comes to the END of summer,

You might think it's all a BUMMER!

But Maine gets ready to change it's season,

And the fall fairs and foliage are quite pleasin'.

So now you know Maine can ROCK and ROll

And draw you back often with it's heart and soul!
