ROCKLAND

Through Aug. 30: 'Seven Deadly Sins' exhibit

"Jamie Wyeth – The Seven Deadly Sins" is on exhibit at the Farnsworth Art Museum. The artist's focus in these works is human frailty, specifically the sins of pride, envy, anger, greed, sloth, gluttony and lust, codified as the seven deadly sins in the writings of the late 13-century Dominican, Saint Thomas Aquinas. "The Seven Deadly Sins" features a contemporary artist taking on a subject long associated with the history of Christian art.

Cost is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students 17 and older, with free admission for museum members, children age 16 and younger and Rockland residents. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays.
