Voters in Lovell agreed to give salaried town employees a 5.8 percent raise as part of the $860,000 budget approved at Saturday's annual town meeting.

The budget represents an increase of around 3 percent over the one approved at last year's meeting, said Selectman Stephen Goldsmith.

Residents also re-elected Selectman Robert Drew, who will serve another three-year term, and chose Larry Fox for a three-year term as road commissioner, Goldsmith said.
