Turnovers and poor shot selection are dominating the third period, with each scoring just two points in the first four minutes.

In a first half that was played without a timeout, the pace picked up considerably in the second quarter with both teams doing more penetrating against the man-to-man defenses. Cape Elizabeth took its first lead at 14-13 on a basket by Alex Bowe, then led by as much as 18-15. But Spenser Adams hit a 3-pointer for Greely, igniting an 8-2 run to end the half. Trevor Tierney, who has two fouls, leads Greely with eight points. Woody Tabery is high for the Capers with seven.

The Rangers scored the first four points, Cape Elizabeth the next four, and then Greely moved back ahead in a deliberate first quarter. Neither team showed an inclination to drive or even shoot 3-pointers.
