Shelby Pelkey scored a game-high 22 points as the third-seeded Rams defeated the No. 2 Shipbuilders in an Eastern Class A girls semifinal at the Augusta Civic Center.

Rachael Mack scored 12 points as Cony, the defending state champions, advanced to the regional final for the eighth consecutive season.

Pelkey scored nine of her 11 first-half points in the first quarter to propel Cony into an early 14-12 lead.

Cony opened the second quarter with a 13-2 run to open up a 27-14 lead 12 minutes into the game.

Jill Henrikson scored 14 points to lesd Morse, which finished the season with a 17-4 record.
