Tough night on Sox teams
The parent club lost 13-0, and it was not much better for the farm teams.
Only one Red Sox affiliate won Thursday night, and it took Salem 13 innings to do it (beating Kinston 6-5, in the advanced Class A Carolina League).
In Triple-A, Pawtucket starter Charlie Zink (0-3, 5.64) went 6 innings (9 H, 5 R, 5 BB, 3 K).
The Double-A Sea Dogs saw the first rough outing from its young prospect, Felix Doubront (4 1/3, 7 H, 4 R, 0 BB, 5 K).
Dustin Richardson (1.26) continues to do well in relief (1 2/3, 1 H, 4 K).

Salem's Michael Jones (.338) went 3-for-5. He singled in the 13th inning, advanced to third on a passed ball and wild pitch, and scored on Kris Negron's single.
Ryan Kalish (.302) was 3-for-4 with a triple; Jason Place (.256) was 2-for-4 with 2 doubles.
Greenville reliever Armando Zerpa is 22 and looks ready for Salem. He pitched 2 scoreless innings Thursday. He has pitched 14 innings so far (2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 13 K).
