Sabathia appears to be a Yankee. Now what about Teixeira and Manny?
According to a New York Post report, C.C. Sabathia has decided to pitch for the Yankees.
The contract will be around six years and $140-million.
The signing of Sabathia could get the free agent ball rolling. Those who lost out on Sabathia may be turning to A.J. Burnett and/or Derek Lowe ... of course, the Yankees may also get one or both of them, too.
It will also be interesting to see if the Yankees are still going to go after first baseman Mark Teixeira, or will they let either the Red Sox or Angels have him.
The Angels' No. 1 priority is to sign Teixeira, according to Sports Illustrated
When Teixeira signs, that may open the way for Manny Ramirez to catch on with someone wanting a slugger. (No word yet on who would give The Manny the four-year deal he craves).
