Amazing. They are playing

Major League Baseball said there was a window to play Friday night's Yankees-Red Sox game and, sure enough, the game has begun.

At 8:36, David Pauley threw the first pitch for the Red Sox (a ball).

The forecast is still iffy. But it will have to be an absolute downpour to stop this now (at least until 5 innings have been played).

Enjoy the game. I'll check back on Saturday.
