Beckett okay; lineups
Josh Beckett came through his exam with Dr. James Andrews just fine, Red Sox manager Terry Francona said during his pre-game press conference, which was televised by NESN. His elbow inflammation is nothing more than that.
Beckett was placed on the 15-day DL, but Francona said Beckett could make his next start a week from tonight in Texas.
