Zink back to Pawtucket

Charlie Zink is going back to Pawtucket after his major league debut tonight.

Zink is leaving to make room for Paul Byrd.

Zink gave up 8 runs tonight, but you would not know it by his smile in the clubhouse. He was excited, of course. He soaked in the experience. And Red Sox winning - 19-17 - certainly helped.

He said the Red Sox gave him hope that he would be back.
