Ortiz done for the night

David Ortiz just walked in the sixth inning in Pawtucket and was lifted for a pinch-runner (Sandy Madera).

Ortiz went 1-for-3 Thursday with a lead-off home run to right in the fourth inning.

Here in Portland, Sea Dogs starter Dustin Richardson had a two-hit shutout for five innings. But Trenton broke free for five runs in the sixth, and lead 5-1 after six innings.

Daniel Bard relieved with one out in the sixth. He struck out two but not before giving up a run on a single and double.
