Game on (maybe)
The weather outside is frightening ... It is very dark here at Hadlock Field. We're waiting for the second half of the thunderstorms coming in (the first part was simply a tease).
The hope is that the Sea Dogs game will be played once it passes through.
You can always hope.
Michael Bowden is scheduled to pitch, so it's worth hanging around for.
The Sea Dogs had one transaction today:
Reliever Carlos Vasquez (sore shoulder) went on the disabled list and Richie Lentz arrived from advanced Class A Lancaster.
One thing about the promotions from Lancaster. They are not temporary fill-ins (not after a 5-hour flight). Lentz, 23, is a 1&th-round draft pick in 2006 out of the University of Washington. He was 4-3 for Lancaster with a 2.8' ERA.
It's now raining. Stay tuned.
