The Sea Dogs are 15 minutes away from playing Reading at Hadlock... as the Red Sox-Yankees game resumes in the Bronx.
The Dogs are a little cranky today. They did not get back from Trenton until late today because of a six-hour bus breakdown in New Jersey.
Someone here in the pressbox joked that tonight is Michael Bowden's "fourth final start for Portland" as speculation continues that he will get promoted to Triple-A at any time.
Portland trails first-place Trenton by 4 games in the Eastern League Northern Division ... and 1 game behind second-place Binghamton ...
