Lowell in lineup; Moss still here
Mike Lowell is back in the Red Sox lineup, batting sixth. David Ortiz is also back after missing two games.
To make room on the Boston roster for Lowell, the Red Sox again designated relief pitcher Bryan Corey for assignment.
That means former Sea Dogs outfielder Brandon Moss is still with the big club. Moss is not only the back-up first baseman, he's also the fourth outfielder tonight, with Jacoby Ellsbury nursing a sore groin muscle.
Here's tonight's lineup

In other injury news, Alex Cora has begun throwing from a short distance. There is hope that he will be able to throw it around the infield ("let it fly," in Terry Francona's words) on Friday ... pitcher Bartolo Colon is due to throw another bullpen session. Francona hopes his next minor league start will be May 5.
