Masterson back to Portland, Corey up

As you probably know by now, Masterson got a no-decision after the Red Sox bullpen blew a 3-1 lead, in a 7-5 loss to the Angels.

After the game, manager Terry Francona said Masterson will return to the Portland Sea Dogs rotation.

Boston is expected to bring reliever Bryan Corey back to the majors. Corey had been designated for assignment and initially rejected an offer to pitcher in Triple-A. he then re-signed with the Sox as a minor league free agent and went to Pawtucket.
