Hansen up, Dice-K out
Craig Hansen has been called up from Pawtucket to replace David Pauley on the Red Sox roster.
In news just breaking, Daisuke Matsuzaka has been scratched from his start tonight and will be replaced by Jon Lester, according to Rob Bradford of the Boston Herald. Dice-K is sick, like so many of his teammates.
Kevin Youkilis is also out of the lineup because of a sore back. Jed Lowrie is in his place.
Reliever Manny Delcarmen is said to be feeling shakey, which explains Hansen's call-up. Hansen has be dominant in Pawtucket with a 0.00 ERA.
With Hansen up, there are still 10 former Sea Dogs on the Red Sox roster.
