Moss, Brown hitting away
Brandon Moss and Dusty Brown continue to hit away, both batting .333 for Pawtucket. Brown hit is first homer of the season last night.
Another former Sea Dogs player, relief pitcher Craig Hansen, still has his 0.00 ERA after another scoreless inning.
Two other ex-Portland pitchers did not fare so well for Pawtucket. Starter Devern Hansack did not get out of the first inning (3 earned runs). Edgar Martinez also gave up three runs.
In advanced Class A Lancaster, the team is carrying three catchers and all are hitting - Jon Still (.314, 4 HR), Zach Farkas (.297) and Dennis Blackmon (.455). Blackmon was singed out of the independent leagues.
Short blog for now ... Will check back later from Fenway.
