Clemens to Boston?
Returned to Maine to find two jokes. One is the remaining mountains of snow (I'm not laughing).
The other comes from the Boston Dirt Dogs site, announcing that Roger Clemens is re-joining the Boston Red Sox. Appropriate story for April 1.
In other news ...
Former Red Sox relievers were in full force in the Brewers' 4-3 10-inning win over the Cubs. Bobby Howry got the loss. David Riske got the save, and Eric Gagne got the win.
Of course, Gagne blew a 3-0 lead in the ninth (single, walk, home run) to "earn" the win, when Milwaukee scored in the top of the 10th.
Also of note, Gabe Kapler was a defensive substitute for the Brewers.
In the minors, Bobby Kielty has accepted his assignment to Pawtucket, meaning the Triple-A club has too many outfielders. Presto: Bryan Pritz has landed on the disabled list.
