More ticket info
Before I pass on the the latest Red Sox ticket info, let me repond to the comment on the last blog - yes, the Red Sox ticket process features a lot of jumps through hoops. And the tickets are incredibly expensive.
But, despite the complicated/pricey process, the Red Sox continue to set attendance records. I suppose that's a lesson for Economics 101. If the market supports the prices, why not charge them?
Major League prices keep going up, which is why minor league baseball keeps growing. For some of us, taking the kids to a Red Sox game is becoming a once every season (or every two seasons) occasion, while we head to Hadlock more often.
Speaking of the Sea Dogs, they are using Red Sox tickets as a lure to buy a few extra tickets to Hadlock. Starting Tuesday morning, the Sea Dogs ticket office is offering packages of four Sea Dogs tickets and one Red Sox ticket.
See the Sea Dogs site for more information.
