Roger's reception
Are you ready with the TV clicker tonight?
From Patroits to Red Sox. Back & Forth
The pregame shows will be predictable. Before the Patriots, we will again hear all about Bill Belichick's videotaping ability. Before the Red Sox, it will be Roger Clemens vs. Curt Schilling. A duel of veterans.
Wonder what kind of reception Clemens will get at Fenway Park?
The guess is that he will be booed at the start (if Clemens had been dominant this year and the Yankees had caught the Red Sox, then I imagine the boos would really be loud). But when Clemens leaves the game, sentiment for the Rocket will return. If he leaves during an inning, there will be a standing O.
Of course, this may not be the last Boston sees of Roger. There is the American League Championship Series.
Red Sox vs. Yankees. The rivalry that keeps on going (and I mean that in every sense, beginning with the games that last 4-plus hours).
I'll check in later with the lineups.
