Buchholz's 12 strikeouts

Clay Buchholz is done for the night after 5 2/3 innings. He was cruising through five innings with 11 strikeouts, having allowed 2 runs, three hits and no walks.

But Buchholz walked the first three batters in the sixth inning. He gave up a two-run single and got two outs before leaving. He finished with 12 strikeouts, one short of the franchise record.
