Not a good start
Garrett Guzman just jacked a two-run homer in the first inning for the New Britain Rock Cats, for a 2-0 lead over the Sea Dogs toight. Things went well for Pawtucket and Devern Hansack today, and we have the make-up dates from the snow.
Hansack put in another stellar outing for Pawtucket, striking out 10 in five innings, allowing two hits and one unearned run, in a 5-3 win over Durham. In two starts, Hansack has struck out 20 in 10 2/3 innings, compiling a 0.84 ERA.
One more Pawtucket note: Brandon Moss stroked his fifth double, going 2-for-5. He is batting .310.
The four snowed-out games with Connecticut have been re-scheduled as part of doubleheaders: June 2 at 6 p.m., June 27 at 6 p.m., June 28 at 6 p.m. and July 27 (time TBA).
