Today's lineup
The sun is bright over Tampa Bay, as the sea gulls fly over the adjoining Progress Energy Park (also known at Al Lang Field). Not a bad way to spend the morning as I give you the Red Sox lineup for today, as well as one Sea Dogs reminder.

Varitek is the DH, getting his wished-for extra AB's. Varitek also hopes to piggy-back Mirabelli's starts soon, so he can catch Boston's new relievers.
Tickets for the" Futures at Fenway" doubleheader go on sale today, starting at 10 a.m. The games are Saturday, Aug. 11, featuring two of Boston's minor league teams, starting with the Lowell Spinners vs. Hudson Valley at noon, followed by the Double-A game between the Portland Sea Dogs and Harrisburg. Tickets range from $5 (upper bleachers) to $30 (Monsters seats, dugout seats). I imagine there is also a service charge includes, but I have not been able to track that down this morning.
