Beth Quimby has been a staff writer at the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram since December 2002. She has written for New England newspapers for more than two decades. She has won the James K. Batten Award for Excellence in Civic Journalism and two Publick Occurrences awards from the New England Newspaper Association, most recently for coverage of Maine's 2004 referendum on gambling casinos.
Kevin Wack has been a staff writer at the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram since January 2004. His stories on brain harvesting at the state Medical Examiner's Office led to a federal investigation, and he won state and regional prizes for that reporting in 2005. Earlier, Wack worked as a reporter for The Associated Press.
Gregory Rec has been a staff photographer at the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram for eight years. Rec has worked on projects involving Maine teenagers, migrant workers in Guatemala and Honduras, Maine soldiers in Iraq and the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He recently won an award from the New England Newspaper Association for photographs taken in Iraq.
Jenn Menendez has been a sportswriter at the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram for seven years. Her work has won four national awards from the Associated Press Sports Editors, including a first-place game story for a piece on skier Bode Miller at the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Jeff Woodbury joined the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram as an
editorial artist in December 2005. An award-winning graphic designer, he has
a background in both commercial and fine art. Woodbury previously worked as
the lead infographic designer in the New York office of a major national
litigation graphics firm.
