Searching is free, but to download full text, there will be a $2 charge per article. Payment for articles can be made on an article-by-article basis with a credit card, or you may establish an account through NewsLibrary's Passport. Articles published prior to March of 1994 are more difficult to research. Our staff has limited availability for individual public research. The Maine Historical Society (207-774-1822) also may be able to help. The Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram do not perform genealogical research or lengthy personal research.
