By Josie Huang, Staff Writer Maine Sunday Telegram Sunday, May 13, 2007

Residents said hello to new town officials and farewell to another at Saturday's town meeting at Wescustogo Hall.
The town's administrative assistant, Scott Seaver, is leaving his post at the end of June after 26 years. The state senator and representatives for North Yarmouth presented a service award to Seaver.
During the three-hour meeting, Seaver said, the 120 voters in attendance also elected two new selectmen, Anne Graham and Robert Wood, who defeated Ronald Hamlin and Richard Brobst.
Virginia Dwyer ran unopposed for the school board. She will be one of three people to represent North Yarmouth in School Administrative District 51, which includes Cumberland.
Every measure passed as recommended, including proposals to use the capital improvement fund to purchase a new plow truck and new computer system for the town, Seaver said.
