JEFFERSON: Revaluation fund to get $57,000
Maine Sunday Telegram Sunday, April 1, 2007

Voters approved 43 articles and elected new town officials at Jefferson's annual town meeting Tuesday.
Deputy Town Clerk Debbie Cooley said all voting was done by secret ballot. A public hearing and discussion on the town meeting warrant articles was held March 15.
Dana Clark was elected to fill a vacant position on the Board of Selectmen. Clark defeated Daniel Brilyea, 296-127, to take over the seat that became open when Trudi Hodgkins decided not to seek re-election.
Robert Westrich and Donna Finch won seats on the School Board. Each seat is for a three-year term. They defeated challengers Katrina Guptill and Mary Fortin. In a two-way race for a one-year term on the board, Eleanor Day defeated Robert Vorhis, 227-155.
Voters narrowly approved an article that authorized setting aside $57,000 in a property revaluation account. That article passed, 224-210.
Toad commissioner Nathan Northrup was re-elected, defeating challenger Wayne Johnston.
