WHEN: June 26 - July 1

WHERE: Opening ceremonies begin at 6:45 p.m. today at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland; games start Friday at Falmouth High School, Bowdoin College in Brunswick and the Wainwright Complex in South Portland. Championship games are July 1 in Brunswick.

WHO'S COMING: 272 teams from 13 states and approximately 5,500 players

FROM MAINE: 19 teams (18 state champions and one wild-card entry) - View Maine team rosters

AT STAKE: Region 1 champions advance to the national championships, to be played July 22-27 in North Little Rock, Ark.
