MERCEDES BAGDON
I am a member of the school chorus and also involved with the school newspaper. I have played guitar since I was eight years old, but I am primarily a writer. Next year I will be attending Emerson College in Boston to study writing and marketing.
KAYLA BLAIS
I spent my high school career participating in the National Honor Society, the Octagon Club, varsity field hockey, and numerous community service activities. I was also Class Secretary for one year. I will attend the University of Maine at Orono next year.
RACHEL CLEMENT
I am in many extracurricular activities such as National Honor Society, basketball, soccer, and softball. I was captain of the basketball team as a junior and senior, and captain of the soccer team as a senior. Next year I will attend the University of Maine at Farmington to major in Nutrition.
ELYSE DOYLE
I have been an active participant in many extracurricular activities at GNGHS, including Class President and Secretary, member of the National Honor Society, the Patriot Drama Club, the varsity soccer team, nordic ski team, and track team. I enjoy mentoring with the Big Brother Big Sister program and singing the National Anthem at basketball games. I will attend Simmons College in Boston, undeclared but with many new ideas in mind.
RIVA FOSS
In the fall, I will attend Lesley University where I will major in Illustration through the Art Institute of Boston program. During my four years, I have been involved in an array of groups, with my highest involvement with the Patriot Players theater.
ALICIA GORMAN
I spend a lot of my time volunteering at Riding to the Top where I help disabled children ride horses. I also played basketball and softball for my first three years of high school. Next year I will attend University of Vermont and major in Animal Science.
EMILY JOHNSON
I have been involved in extracurricular activities such as the Octagon Club, GNG Community Service Club, and Math Team. I was secretary of the National Honor Society and love playing the piano. This fall I will attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute majoring in Biochemistry with a Pre-Medical concentration and a minor in either psychology or Spanish.
CHRISTOPHER LESSARD
I am a member of the National Honor Society and have participated in golf, hockey, and baseball as a varsity player. Next year I will attend Campbell University in North Carolina and will major in Pharmacy.
JOLEEN MITALY
I have been a member of the Octagon Club, National Honor Society, and Indoor and Outdoor Track, In track, I threw the javelin, discus, and shotput. Next year, I will attend Keene State College in New Hampshire with an undeclared major.
GIANNA ODDI
Along side academics, I have also participated in many extracurricular activities such as National Honor Society, Math Team, Cheerleading, and Softball. I will attend the University of Vermont next year with an undeclared major in engineering.
NICHOLAS PALMER
I have been involved in many extracurricular activities including National Honor Society, Special Olympics, Basketball and Track and Field. I served as Class Treasurer and was manager of the basketball team for four years. Next year I will attend Southern Maine Community College to major in Liberal Arts with a concentration in History.
AMANDA REDMOND
I have been involved with field hockey all four years of high school, and was varsity captain my senior year. I have also been involved with National Honor Society and Math Team. I am going to attend the University of Southern Maine as a Russell Scholar this fall.
KELSEY REDMOND
Throughout my four years at GNGHS, I played varsity soccer and was captain my senior year. Outside of school, I have been involved with the international order of the Rainbow for Girls as a state officer. Next year, I plan to attend the University of Southern Maine where I will study to become a nurse.
MELISSA RYAN
I have been involved in extracurricular such as the National Honor Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters. I am also an active member of the Class of 2009, serving as a class representative, and I am Chair of the Prom Committee. Next year I will attend the University of Farmington majoring in Early Childhood Special Education.
MICHAELA SANGILLO
I participated in varsity field hockey, varsity cheerleading, and spring track. I was captain for both field hockey and cheerleading. I was also involved in Key Club, the National Honor Society, and Big Brother Big Sister. Next year I will attend Simmons College to study Physical Therapy.
TERRI-LYNN SANBORN
I have been involved in many extracurricular activities including the National Honor Society and student government, as well as participating on numerous sports teams. I was captain of the basketball team both my junior and senior years. Next year I will attend the University of Maine, majoring in nursing..
