Rana Bates, daughter of Daphne Pulsifer and Daniel Bates of Kennebunkport, is a member of Peer Helpers, NHS, Jazz Band, and has received the Williams College Book Award. Her athletic activities include Varsity Captain of Cross Country and Varsity Track & Field (pole vault & high jump). Rana has applied to Middlebury College, Tufts University, Skidmore College, University of Vermont, and the University of Maine. She is contemplating a one-year Americorps mission next year.

David W. Brown, son of Peter and Carol Brown of Kennebunk, is President of the Interact Club, NHS member, has received the Middlebury College Book Award, volunteered at the Netza School in Mexico with the Interact Club, and participates in Varsity Soccer and Varsity Lacrosse. David is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering.

Stephanie Bryant, daughter of Lori and Donald Bryant of Kennebunkport, is the manager of the Seasonal Sports Slide Show, a Student Ambassador for People to People Cultures of Australia (2007), a Manager of Girls' Varsity Basketball, and played Varsity Softball. Stephanie plans to study social work at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and hopes to study abroad and intern at social work agencies while in college.

Hannah Cunningham, daughter of Craig and Lora Cunningham of Kennebunk, is a member of the NHS, Knitting Club President, Student Forum, and a member of the Maine Diocesan Council for Catholic Youth Ministry which requires 800 hours of community service per year. She has also received St. Joseph's College Academic Book Award and St. Philip Catholic Church Youth Ministry. Hannah plans to attend a liberal arts college in New England and would like to major in secondary education, specifically mathematics.

Katherine E. Deegan, daughter of John and Elizabeth Deegan of Kennebunk, is a member of NHS, Student Forum, Math Team, Knitting Club, Wind Ensemble, United States Youth Ensembles 2007, Youth Ministry, and Girl Scouts. Her athletic activities include Field Hockey and Lacrosse and she is a captain on the Cross Country team. Katie is planning on attending college to study Business.

Mary DeFanti, daughter of Dr. Thomas and Stephanie DeFanti of Kennebunk, is a member of the NHS, Captains' Club, Student Forum, and Spokesperson for Drug & Alcohol Committee. Among her many community service projects are volunteering health care in the Dominican Republic, volunteering at soup kitchens, camp counselor in training, and an internship in real estate. Her athletic activities include Varsity Lacrosse (Captain) and Varsity soccer. Mary plans to attend a 4-year college to study business and play either Division 1 or 3 Lacrosse.

Abigail Ettelman, daughter of Carol Morris of Kennebunkport and Steven Ettelman of Gorham, is actively involved in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program, Youth Services Commission, KHS theater, and won first place in Women of Inspiration Essay Contest. Abby is a recipient of the President's Scholarship and plans to attend the University of British Columbia.

Abraham K. Feldman, son of Maureen King and Marc Feldman of Kennebunkport, is a member of the KHS Captains' Club, Tri-M Music Honors Society, KHS Math Team, KHS Jazz Band (plays the Bari Sax), Pit Orchestra, and Wind Ensemble. His athletic activities include Varsity Swim Captain, NYCY Manta Rays Swim Team, Tackwondo instructor, lifeguard at the Arundel Beach Club, and an avid sailor. Abe will be attending the Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Needham, Mass., majoring in mechanical engineering.

Kerry L. Frank, daughter of George & Eleanor Frank of Kennebunk, is a Student Forum leader, a member of the Mock Trial Team, Math Team and a recipient of the Society of Women Engineers Award. Kerry's athletic activities include cross country, basketball, and track. She plans to attend either McGill, John Hopkins, or Cornell.

Steven Fritzsche, son of Paul Fritzsche and Anne Rodier of Kennebunk, is a member of the KHS Math Team, Mock Trial, District 1 & All-State Music Festivals, was a translator in a rural Guatemalan Clinic, National Merit Commended Student, and AP Scholar with Honors. His athletic activities include Varsity Swimming, Cross Country, and Tennis. He holds the school record in 200 Medley Relay, 200 Freestyle Relay, and 400 Freestyle Relay. Steven has accepted early decision to Tufts University.

Hannah Hussey, daughter of Tim Hussey and Marcia Landry of Kennebunk, is a member of the NHS, Mock Trail & Model State Legislature, Band, and belongs to the youth group at South Congregational Church. Her athletic activities include aikido and sailing. Hannah is currently trying to pick between several schools (all in the Northeast/East Coast area), where she plans to major in a social science.

Hannah Johnston, daughter of Ann and Robert Johnston of Kennebunk, is a member of the NHS, volunteers with Kennebunk Parks & Rec, and is a member of the Cross Country team (Captain) and Tennis team (Captain). Hannah plans to attend a four-year college.

Margaret Johnston, daughter of Ann and Robert Johnston of Kennebunk, is a member of the school newspaper, NHS, Model UN, USTA Tennis League, and her athletic activities have included Cross Country (senior captain), Tennis Team (senior captain), Swim Team, and Basketball Manager. Margaret plans to attend Clemson University.

Courtenay Jane Kinney, daughter of Roxanne Kinney of Kennebunkport, is a member of the NHS, Baton Club, Lieutenant of the Kennebunk Jr. Fire Department, and People to People Student Ambassador for Australia in the summer of 2007. Courtenay plans to attend the New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont.

Imre Kormendy, son of Tibor and Ibolya Kormendy of Kennebunk, is an officer of the Culture Club, a Team Leader for Indoor Soccer, played Varsity Soccer and received the Coaches' Award and Journal Tribune All Star Team and All Academic Team Awards. His hobbies include snowboarding and surfing. Imre would like to study Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering most likely at UMO.

John Laude, son of David and Peggy Laude of Kennebunk, is a member of the NHS, SMAA Soccer All Academic Team, Captains' Club, Student Forum, Wind Ensemble, and Interact Club. His athletic activities include Varsity Soccer, Varsity Lacrosse, Surfing, and Snowboarding. John has volunteered at the Biddeford Soup Kitchen, refereed Youth Soccer, and KHS Readiness Campaign Committee. John's future plans include attending Bates College.

Mary Beth McDonnell, daughter of Kevin and Loreta McDonnell of Kennebunk, is a member of the NHS, KHS Senate member, St. Martha's Youth Ministry Student Leader, and her athletic activities include Cross Country and Lacrosse (Varsity Captain). She has received special recognition for craftsmanship in Woodcraft I and received the 2007 USM Book Award. Mary Beth plans to pursue a career in Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Maine in Orono, or Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences.

Isaac Nault, son of Michael and Carol Nault of Arundel, is a member of the NHS, Political Affairs Club, Jazz Band, Math Team, All-State Band (trombone), District 1 Band, and Tri-M Music Honors Society. Isaac plans to major in Physics and Engineering at either Rensselaer, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, or the University of Maine.

Kristy Ann Robinson, daughter of Mark and Deborah Robinson of West Kennebunk, is a member of the Class of 2008 Executive Council, Captains' Club, NHS, Math Team, Newspaper, volunteered with the Oxfam AmericaÕs Made Trade Fair Campaign, was the 2007 recipient of the St. Michaels College Book Award and attended the 2006 World Scholar Athlete Games. Her athletic activities include four years of Soccer, Swimming, Track and Velocity Premier Soccer.
Kristy plans to attend Emerson College in Boston to study Film Production and anticipates that the films she will make will not only express her creativity but her need to spread awareness about issues that are important to her.

Alexander Tito, son of Gary and Lisa Tito of Kennebunkport, is a member of the KHS Math Team, and is a member of the KHS Tennis Team. Alex plans on attending Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in the Doctor of Pharmacy program.

Christopher Patrick Washburn, son of James and Bonita Washburn of Kennebunk, is a member of the NHS, Who's Who Among American High School students, was a volunteer Junior Firefighter in Kennebunk, and has played soccer, track & field, intramural volleyball, and has done community service for the animal shelter. Christopher plans to attend the University of Maine to major in either chemical or mechanical engineering.
