Nicholas David Anthony Parents: Joan and David Anthony. Nick was a member of the Math Team and in the Mentor Program. Activities include: Varsity Soccer (captain), Varsity Track (indoor and outdoor), Youth Hockey/Soccer referee and Instructor. Awards: Excellency in French Award, Williams College Book Award, Western Maine Senior All-Star Soccer Team, First Team All Conference Soccer, MVP Varsity Soccer, Class B Indoor Track, Runner up @ State Meet, and Second Team All-Conference Track. Nick will be attending Boston College.

Ashley Briggs Parents: Michele Gilliam and Allen Briggs. Ashley was a member of the National Honors Society, Service Club, GSA, and Math Team. Activities include: Rotary Youth Exchange, YES2YOUTH Media, Yoga and Guitar. Awards: English Award, Barnard College Book Award, Recognition of Excellence and Leadership in Service Club, Highest Score on Math Team, Honors Algebra Award. Ashley will be attending Suffolk University in Madrid, Spain.

Eliza Anna Bryant Parents: Shari Broder and Eric Bryant. Eliza was a member of the National Honors Society and the Model United Nations. Activities included: Chorus, Chamber Choir, Women's Ensemble, Musicals, Math Team and One Act Plays. Awards: All Cast Acting Award, American Studies Scholar Award. Eliza will be attending Connecticut College.

Reid M. Christian Parents: Patrick Christian and Jane Mueller. Reid was Vice President of Student Council, Vice President of the National Honors Society and a member of the Student Aspirations Partnership. Activities include: Basketball, Soccer, Math Team, and Student Mentor. Awards: Bob Butler Award, Citizenship Award, Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award, American Studies Award, Scholar Athlete Award and Math Award. Reid will be attending Bates College.

Laura Collard Parent: Laureen Collard. Laura was a member of the Mentor Program and Maine Youth Leadership Program. Activities include: Musicals, One Act Plays, Appearances in Figures of Speech and Freeport Community Players, Service Club, and Southern Maine Children's Choir. Awards: Citizenship Award 2008, District III Honor Choir, All-State Honor Choir, All Eastern Honor Choir, and National Honor's Society. Laura will be attending the University of Southern Maine.

Stephania Cushing Parents: Brenda Cushing and Bernie Ray. Stephania was a member of the National Honors Society, Gay Straight Alliance, Service Club, and Outgoing Club. Activities include: Field Hockey, Fishing Club, Lacrosse and Discovery Quest. Awards: Excellence Award for Western Civilization, Excellence Award for Consumer Science, Field Hockey Coaches Award, Scholar Athlete Award, Western Maine Conference Second Team. Stephania will be attending Skidmore College.

Emily Suzanne Forster Parents: Nathalie and Kevin Forster. Emily was a Maine "Teens Who Care" Nominee and volunteer for "Riding to the Top" Therapeutic Riding Center and Ronald McDonald House. Activities include: Service Club, Peer Mentor Club, National Honors Society, Future Problem Solving Team, YMCA Swim Team, One Act Plays, School Musicals, Chamber Choir, and Women's Ensemble. Awards: 1st place at Teen Speak Out for Lyon's Club Speech Contest, Wellsley Book Award, Honors English Award, Presidents Award, American Studies Award, French Award, and America's Choral Director's Association All Eastern Honor Choir. Emily will be attending Smith College.

Chelsea Virginia Harlow Parent: Kathleen Harlow. Activities include: Horseback riding and snowmobiling. Awards: Prefect Attendance for 3 years, Most Improved in American Studies, and Presidential Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. Chelsea will be attending Norwich University.

Bonnie Elizabeth Johnson Parents: Humphrey and Elizabeth Johnson. Bonnie was a member of the Outing Club. Activities include: Nordic Ski Team, Cross-Country Running Team and National Outdoor Leadership School Semester. Awards: Captain of the Nordic Ski Team, Captain of the Cross-Country Running Team and Varsity Letters. Bonnie will be attending Northland College in Ashland Wisconsin.

Robin Marian Kerber Parents: Carla and Philip Kerber. Robin was President of the Service Club, Outgoing Club Founder, National Honors Society Treasurer, member of the Art Club, member of the Photography Club, Mentor Leader, Prom Committee Member and Varsity Lacrosse. Activates include: Cooking, Traveling, Photography, Volunteering, Art, Baking and Pastry Arts. Awards: Smith College Book Award, Excellence in American Studies Award, Honors English Award. Robin will be attending the Culinary Institute of America.

Zach Leavitt Parents: Martha Carton and Mark Leavitt. Zach was a member of the Prom Committee, Photography Club and Art Club. Activities include: Soccer, Math Team, Ultimate Frisbee, and Outing Club. Awards: Honorable Mention for Mixed Media Art Project, Received 2nd place in Freeport Women's Club Contest for Drawing, American Studies Award, 1st place in Freeport Women's Club for Photography. Zach will be attending Naropa University.

Seamus E. McMorrow Parents: Jeanne Bell and Brendan McMorrow. Seamus was a member of the Math Team, Service Club, Photography Club, National Honors Society and Science Olympiad. Activities include: Nordic Skiing, Cross Country Running, Ultimate Frisbee, Telemark Skiing, and Mountain Uni-cycling. Awards: Pride and Character Awards for Skiing and Running and the Coaches Award for Skiing. Seamus will be attending Bishops University.

Jessica Niles Parents: Bob and Carol Niles. Jessica was a member of the Math Team and the Freeport Aspirations Committee. Activities include: Varsity Soccer, Varsity Softball, Varsity Indoor Track, Chorus, Honors Chorus, Women's Ensemble and Concert Band. Awards: Bates Book Award, National Honor Society, Most Outstanding for Chorus, Pride and Character Award for Varsity Soccer and School Record for Girls Pole Vaulting. Jessica has not yet decided on a college.

Elliot Lehmer Russell Parents: Mary and Matt Russell. Elliot was a member of the National Honors Society, Math Team, and Peer Mentoring. Activities include: Soccer, Tennis, Fishing Club, and Science Olympiad. Awards: English Award, Social Studies Award, Math Award, Yale Book Award, Scholar Athlete Award, 2nd Place at the Lyon's Speak Out Contest. Elliot will be attending St. Mary's College of Maryland.

Anders Clark Samuelson Parents: Scott and Joan Samuelson. Anders was a member of the Clarion Literary Magazine, Falcon Newspaper, Service Club, and Surf Club. Activities include: Varsity Soccer, Nordic Skiing, Track, Surfing, Snowboarding, Poetry, and Community Gardens. Awards: Geography Award, Honors English Award, Solomon H. Plummer Citizenship Award, Brown University Book Award. Anders will be attending Bowdoin College.

Russell Scammon Parents: Wendy and Robert Scammon. Russell played lacrosse and golf. Activities include: NAUI Open Water Diving, Commercial Fishing, Boating, Snowboarding and Skiing. Awards: Pre-Calculus Award, Latin 1 Award, Golf Coach's Award, Honor Roll. Russell will be attending the University of Vermont.

Emily Hall Selinger Parents: Cynthia and Maurice Selinger. Emily was a member of the National Honors Society. Activities include: Concert Band, Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Portland Youth Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, District III Honors Band, Maine All-State Band, Varsity Field Hockey and Ocean Classroom. Awards: Scholar-Athlete Award, Oberlin Book Award, R.I.T Computing Medal, and Valedictorian of Ocean Classroom Semester. Emily is undecided on her attending college.

Shuang Song Parents: Qingmeizheng and Weizhong Song. Shuang was a member of the National Honors Society. Activities include: Swimming, Tennis, Volunteering at the Freeport Community Center, Math Team, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Student Mentor, Class President, Student Aide and School Musical. Awards: Top grade of the National Piano Examination in China, Citizen Award in China, Excellence Award in Math and Humanites. Middlebury College Book Award and 1st place Soloist at the Maine Jazz Festival. Shuang plans to attend Connecticut College.

Heather Thomas Parents: Barbara and Todd Thomas. Heather was a member of the Nation Honors Society and the Mentoring Program. Activities include: Access Healthy Maine Partnership Youth Advocacy Program, WOWW (We Organize Wellness Wednesdays), Maine Youth Action Network Leadership Conference, Student Representative of Freeport Public School System Wellness Committee. Awards: Youth Who Care Award, Solomon H. Plummer Citizenship Award and Latin III Excellence Award. Heather will be attending the University of Maine at Farmington majoring in Community Health Education.

Sophia Esther Wright Parents: Gail Senese and Marc Spruiell. Sophia was a member of the Service Club, Math Team, Secretary on the National Honors Society and Women's Ensemble. Activities include: Honors Chamber Choir, Honors District III Choir, Horseback Riding, Red Cross Volunteering, Snowboarding, Kayaking, and Rock Climbing. Awards: Bowdoin College Book Award, Most Improved Choral Student Award, Presidents Award for Educational Excellence, Solomon H. Plummer Citizenship Award, Excellence in Geography Award, Excellence in Algebra Award. Sophia will be a Nursing major at Brigham Young University.

Samuel York Parents: Christine York and Herb York. Sam was a member of the National Honors Society, Student Government, Falcon Newspaper, Surf Club and Math Team. Activities include: Soccer, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track. Awards: Colby Book Award, American Studies Award, Highest Achievement in Latin and Scholar Athlete Award. Sam will be attending Bowdoin College this fall.
