Tim Greenway has been a part-time staff photographer for the Press Herald for one year. He previously worked as the photo editor/photographer for The Community Leader and The Maine Switch.

Tim has more than 12 years of experience as a photojournalist. During his career he has covered everything from professional sports to documentary stories about homelessness, drug addiction and poverty as well as various features for a variety of award winning newspapers and magazines.

Tim began his career at the Winona Daily News while he was a photojournalism student at Winona State University in Minnesota. From there he spent a summer at the Duluth News Tribune before settling in Appleton, Wisconsin where he completed an internship for the Appleton Post Crescent and continued to work for the paper for the next five years.

Tim moved to Portland in 2003 to attend the Salt Institute For Documentary Studies where he honed his documentary photography skills. He currently lives on Munjoy Hill with his fiance, two dogs and two cats.
