Bracketstravaganza Winners and Losers
Thank goodness for baseball's opening day, because otherwise there'd be a lot of inconsolable sports fans right now.
However, the man I know as T-$ (that's T-money to you), is probably not one of them.
He's the winner of the NXT Bracketstravaganza.

Bracketstravaganza Update: Return of the King?
With week 2 of the NCAA Men's hoops tournament about to get underway again, I though we should take a quick look at the standings.

March Madness: The NXT Bracketstravaganza Returns
Just because a guy is away in Texas drowning in internet trends, BBQ and general geekery doesn't mean he's forgotten about what really matters in this world:
College Basketball.
It's time to fill out the brackets again.

Red Auerbach and the flopping menace
Any observer of this blog knows that from time to time we'll take a few diversions into sports, because, well, just because we can.
In this case with the Celtics about to square off against the Lakers in the NBA Finals for the first time in over 20 years (I was seven the last time they clashed) it seemed fitting to offer up some video love.
Here's Celtics legend and championship architect Red Auerbach taking on one of the biggest threats to the NBA: Flopping. That's right, even back in the 1970s flopping began to rear its ugly head, even before European players came to the shores of the U.S. in large numbers.
Not only is this educational, but if the classic NBA unis (when men wore short shorts with pride) aren't worth a little entertainment, then you have no soul.
Red breaks down just what is a foul, and what's not, and has a few words for all you would be floppers out there. You know who you are.

What was that? (Hoops & Party Edition)
I've been remiss in updating the NXT Hoops Challenge and Bracketstravaganza this week, mostly out of the sickness I felt after watching Monday night's NCAA final.

Bracket Busters and the NXT Hoops Challenge
We cover a lot of ground on the NXT Desk, from pop culture and technology to local art, music, politics, cuisine, personal grooming, relationship advice...the list goes on. So far I don't think we've gotten to auto repair.
But today we're adding something new: sports.
