What is this world coming to when a man tries to get some provocative discussion going and no one says a word? Teenagers! Sex! Blog!

We’re talking about the big S (and I suppose the big E and the big X) today, which is a topic that always grabs people’s attention. That counts double when you combine the words “sex” and “teens.”

We’re getting into the final hours of a very brutal campaign season, and it’s becoming clear that every vote is going to count.

No I’m not talking about the 2008 presidential campaign, but instead the Phoenix’s annual Best Music Poll.

I don't know if I've ever spent as much time at the Station or Space as I did over last weekend. But in the final assessment, I (and I suspect a lot of other people) would say it was worth it.

In trying to write today’s column about the tragedy at Virginia Tech, the natural inclination would have been to get reactions from students here about fears of something of that magnitude happening in Maine.

I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that part of what got me after today's column was the name of the group. "The Vestigial Avengers" has a classy-yet-two-fisted-justice kind of sound to it.
The thing is, the name just barely made it into the column.
