Monday Morning Round–Up (So that happened part. II)
Was there something going on at Portland High School yesterday?
I drove past there and it looked like the entire city was trying to get in there.
Joking aside it looks like Maine's moment in the political spotlight has subsided, and according to your daily newspaper the caucuses went out with a bang.
Interestingly, scanning the cable networks last night, there was not much coverage. Big turnouts, small state, and driving snow seemed like a tempting target for TV news coverage. Alas, no correspondents in parkas.
Remember my joke about campaign spam last week? Here's just a sampling of what we get around here:

And my e–mail still doesn't know the difference between news releases and emails for "male enhancement."
Take that as you will.
Meanwhile in other parts of your paper today...
Over in the Monday Magazine I opened up the old mailbag again, only this time it was all for the lovers. OK, maybe not all for the lovers, but I took a stab at answering some of your relationship and dating questions.
Thanks to everyone who was brave enough to send in questions, it was a lot of fun. If I help just one person...well then that's one person that was really in desperate need of advice.
Here's a few that did not make it in, you can make your own assumptions as to why:
"Is a guy just trying to get laid when he says he just 'wants to be friends'
but then tries to makeout you whenever there is a pitcher of PBR around?"
"Where can I pick up lonely nurses on valentines day if liquid blue is closed?"
Feel free to answer those if you like. And if you've got better advice than me on today's questions, please, let's hear it.
If you still have questions please send them in. I'm trying to put something together for this week's podcast.
Over in the iHerald we've got a piece on using social networking tools and ideas to help organize co–ed sports leagues.
Take the grunt work, the guessing and the fliers out of it. Plus, we all know part of getting into any adult sports league is to meet people (either for friends or otherwise...you know who you are) and it doesn't hurt to have a central place where people can get together away from the post–game beers.
Finally, it dawns on me that I always forget to point out who we've got favorites from.
This week Computer at Sea's Galen Richmond talks about circuit bending and local music.
We're always looking for favorite's suggestions around here, so drop me drop me a line if you've got someone you'd like to see featured.
