Farkes, Belcher, Cosgrove ...
Former Maine quarterback Adam Farkes just may surface at Division III Trinity College next fall.
The team competes in the NESCAC and went a perfect 8-0 this season.
The team's coach said he has spoken to Farkes but would not comment further.
Farkes was granted a release from Maine last week.
In other Maine football news:
Jovan Belcher finished second in voting for the 2008 Buck Buchanan Award, which is presented annually to the nation's most outstanding defensive player at the FCS level by The Sports Network.
It's the highest finish ever for a Black Bear in a national award vote.
Belcher was also named a First-Team All-American this week by two organizations: the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and the Walter Camp Foundation.
Maine Coach Jack Cosgrove finished 10th in the voting for the Eddie Robinson National Coach of the Year award.
Both of those announcements were made at the FCS awards ceremony in Chattanooga, Tenn. on the eve of tonight's National Championship Game.
