Turcotte rolls on

The Turcotte train kept on rolling Saturday for the University of Maine football team.

The redshirt freshman from Lewiston rushed for 189 all-purpose yards - 120 rushing, 69 receiving - and two touchdowns in Maine's 41-40 double overtime win against Hofstra.

He grabbed his second CAA Football Rookie of the Week honor with the performance.

Some other notable performances in the game:

Michael Brusko: accounted for 268 yards of total offense at QB, rushing for 113, and throwing for 155. Maine totaled 441 yards of offense.

Derek Session: 113 all-purpose yards at tailback

Jovan Belcher: a career high 16 tackles against Hofstra
