Belcher: Maine's game wrecker

Every team in the Colonial Athletic Association is well aware of Jovan Belcher.

Maine's defensive end went national today, as he was named The Sports Network's FCS National Defensive Player of the Week.

Belcher had seven tackles, two sacks (-15 yards) and two forced fumbles in Maine's 27-10 upset over Delaware on Saturday.

He earned the CAA player-of-the-week award on Monday.

Remember this nugget from Richmond Coach Mike London a few weeks ago?

On Belcher: "He's a guy who can wreck the game for you."
