Soccer streak at St. Joe's

The St. Joseph's College (4-3-2, 1-1-1 GNAC) men's soccer team is one game shy of a tying the program's longest winning streak after beating Emerson College 5-0 on Wednesday for a fifth straight win.

The Monks got goals from five different players (pictured left to right): sophomore Paul Robins of Cornwall, England, senior Kevin Melega of Easthampton, Mass., junior Andre Cushing of Hampden, junior Doug MacCallum of Hingham, Mass., and freshman Derek Osmond of Rockport, Mass.

The program's longest win streak was six games in 1998.

The Monks next play Emmanuel College (3-4-1, 1-0-1 GNAC) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
