Turcotte's moment
Lewiston's Jared Turcotte was named the CAA Rookie of the Week this morning
following his coming out party of sorts in Maine's 24-10 loss to James Madison on Saturday.

With star tailback Jhamal Fluellen out of the lineup due to injury, the Black Bears turned to Turcotte to spark its running game.
He quickly flashed a physical presence running the ball and snapped off 82 yards on 11 carries - an average of 7.5 per carry.
Turcotte also had a couple of receptions - a five and 22-yarder to add another layer to the passing game.
The redshirt freshman was the 2006 Fitzpatrick Trophy winner following his career at running back for Lewiston.
Previous to Saturday, Turcotte had been playing at H-back for Maine, and was used primarily as a blocker.
