The Black Bears (2-2, 0-1 Colonial Athletic Association) will be hosting the No. 1 team in the Football Championship Series on Saturday when James Madison (3-1, 1-0) comes to town for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
JMU, which was ranked No. 5 last week, trailed 21-0 at halftime against No. 1 ranked Appalachian State on Saturday and returned to beat the 2007 FCS National Champions 35-32.
The win catapulted JMU up the rankings this afternoon to No. 1.

JMU is led by QB Rodney Landers(far left) who ran 20 times for 113 yards and two touchdowns during JMU's second-half surge. He also completed 7 of 13 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown.
JMU's come-behind-win was spearheaded when Scotty McGee (left) returned the opening kickoff in the second half 99 yards for a TD.
The win allowed the Dukes to avenge a first-round playoff loss to the Mountaineers in 2007.
Said Maine Coach Jack Cosgrove in this morning's CAA conference call:
"He single handedly provided the momentum for that (win) last weekend. It's not only in the kickoff, but also in the punt return. He's dangerous there. We've had him on tape against some outstanding opponents, and he's a threat versus those guys."
Maine wide receiver Landis Williams is questionable to play in Saturday's game against James Madison.
Williams was injured Sept. 13 against Stony Brook and did not play in the Black Bears' 44-17 loss to Richmond this past weekend. The school has not released the nature of his injury.
