How bout them Eagles?

Yup.

Boston College represented Hockey East in style, taking home the big title from Denver with a 4-1 win against Notre Dame.

Here's the AP game story.

I like this this column from the Colorado Springs Gazette.

The Eagles pulled off the win, wrote The Boston Herald's John Connolly by "riding the magical exploits of junior left winger Nathan Gerbe and the unwavering play of freshman goaltender John Muse."

In case that depressed you Maine fans......just about six months to go till Maine hockey kicks up again.

Interesting that Ms Menendez writes of Hockey East glory with BC but never wrote about her alma mater remaining University of No Hardware with a huge choke that disgraced Hockey East. National Championships: BC 3, Maine 2, UNH Zero. Satisfaction: Priceless! :)

What about them Black Bears? Do your job and write something of substance. It would be a welcome change.
