Colts to check out Mulligan

A scout from the Indianapolis Colts will be in Orono Tuesday morning to evaluate tight end Matt Mulligan.

Mulligan worked out at Maine's Pro Day on March 19 with scouts from the Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons along with teammates Bruno Dorismond, Anthony Cotrone, and Reggie Paramoure.

Mulligan, 6-4, 270 pounds, is a long shot to get picked in the upcoming NFL draft (April 26, 27) and is more likely to be signed as a free agent.
