Emily Rousseau status

Maine point guard Emily Rousseau of Biddeford is listed as day to day with a leg injury she suffered against Albany last week.

She will undergo tests today, and is unlikely to play Saturday against Binghamton,
according to the sports information department.

Rousseau has averaged 8.1 points per game in 24 games this season. She averages 28.4 minutes of playing time a game, second most on the team.

Jenn, seeing that you're taking requests, can you find out why the hockey team is so bad this year? Is my main man Whitehead in any trouble this year? He can't play the games, you know...

He can't recruit, motivate or coach either.
The good news though? - Rumor has it he's headed to UNH as the second assistant - we can only hope...

I don't get it... Whitehead takes us to three final fours in what, five years, and somehow you want to replace him?

UNH would be lucky to get such a fine coach, but I can't see Whitehead playing second fiddle to Whistling Dick....

A former Portland Pirates beat writer who has covered two winter Olympics for the paper, Jenn will expand her beat this year to include the University of Southern Maine, St. Joseph's College, Bowdoin College, the University of New England, and Southern Maine Community
College.

She will continue to cover the
University of Maine Black Bears, the state's only division one program.
