Border Battle

Maine hockey faces a tough end of the first semester challenge on Sunday at nationally ranked New Hampshire.

Will be an interesting game for a couple of reasons.

1. Maine hasn't faced UNH since Trevor Smith ran goalie Ben Bishop in the crease last February. Smith has since left to go pro, and Bishop has recovered from a fairly serious groin injury.

2. This will be the first legit test for the Black Bears in several weeks – meaning against a top nationally ranked team. Good time to see where things stand.

3. UNH can be a daunting place to play because of the crowd. However, souds like they're calling for a mighty storm on Sunday ... so wonder what the turnout will be?

Game will be televised on ESPNU.
