Holiday Week Games

Turkey and mashed potatoes may be on your mind this week, but there are a few key games going on with University of Maine teams.

  • Men's basketball (4-1) plays tonight at Quinnipiac. The game will be televised on NESN at 7 p.m.
The men play again Saturday in Orono at Noon against Northeastern.

  • Women's basketball (2-2) hosts the Dead River Company Classic with a Friday game against Harvard. Maine will play Quinnipiac or Hofstra on Saturday in either the championship game or the consolation game.

  • Men's hockey (4-6-1, 2-4-1 Hockey East) will host Vermont on Sunday with a chance to snap a four-game losing skid.

  • The women's hockey team (1-11-1) hosts Boston University tonight in Orono then heads to Burlington, Vt. to face Vermont on Saturday.
