Montell Owens on Pro Bowl ballot

Montell Owens, a former tailback at Maine, is on the NFL ballot as a possible selection to the Pro Bowl.
Owens has played in six games on special teams for the Jacksonville Jaguars this season, his second in the NFL. He also played for the Jaguars last year after signing as an undrafted free agent following the 2006 NFL Draft.
Owens led Maine in rushing in the 2005 season. He rushed for 779 yards on 184 carries (averaging 4.2 a carry) and scored nine TDs.
