Bishop Status

Goalie Ben Bishop was on the ice at Alfond Arena today for his second straight practice, but is still questionable for Maine's opener at Denver on Friday, according to Coach Tim Whitehead.

Bishop (21-9-2, 2.14 GAA last year) injured his left leg during warm-ups before Maine's exhibition game last Saturday.

Whitehead would not be any more specific than "left leg."

He did say the team will bring third goalie Shane Foley on the Denver trip along with Bishop's backup Dave Wilson (2-6, 3.12 GAA last year)
